Terrible news coming out of the state of California. Multiple news outlets report that MC Supreme – ’90s rapper best known of his single “Black in America” – has died in a car crash.
The incident happened on Saturday in Malibu. MC Supreme, real name Dewayne Coleman, lost his life after a pick up truck crashed into his Honda Civic on the Pacific Coast highway at around 6:20 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Supreme was 47 years old.
The man who drove the truck, 34-year-old Philip Torres II, was arrested and charged with vehicular manslaughter and DUI.
A woman who was in the rapper’s car was taken to a local hospital. Her condition remains unknown.
