About a year ago, Eminem was named the first artist ever to earn two RIAA Digital Diamond Awards after “Not Afraid” surpassed the 10 million threshold and joined his Rihanna-assisted “Love The Way You Lie.” Interestingly enough, both tracks are from his seventh studio album Recovery.

It was not until this month before the Detroit native received the statuettes which symbolize his feats by Chairman and CEO of RIAA, Cary Sherman. Both posed for a photo with the awards, which you can see at the foot of the article.

“ We are delighted to recognize Eminem as the first artist to earn two RIAA Digital Diamond Awards. This singular achievement – earning a Diamond Award on two separate digital songs – is unparalleled, and we congratulate him on forever etching a mark in Gold & Platinum Program history,” Sherman said last year.

And while we are speaking on Em and Diamond certifications, he owns two Diamond plaques for The Marshall Mathers LP released in 2000 and The Eminem Show released in 2002. Quite impressive,
huh?
