Rihanna had a blast at the BET Awards 2015 last night. Even though she lost the only award she was nominated for – “Best Female R&B/Pop Artist” – to Beyoncé, the Bajan dive still had quite the night
Aside from premiering an extended trailer to the music video for her current anthem “B**** Better Have My Money,” Rih stole the show by duct taping Floyd Mayweather’s mouth.
The songstress attended the official ceremony with a roll of duct tape in hand.
While everybody was wondering if this is a new unexplainable fashion trend, she flashed the roll every time the camera was filming her. At one point, she taped Floyd’s mouth shut for no apparent reason. As much as it all seemed stage, we can never be sure if she wasn’t simply tired of the boxer’s talking.
Later on in the evening, Rih was captures throwing money at BET’s President of Programming Stephen Hill. Before she hit him with a fat stack of bills, it appeared as if she told him, “But why? This is why the f*** I hate the BETs.” BET eventually revealed this particular moment was staged.
