Outshining Eminem when it comes to rapping is not something one hears on a daily basis. As a matterbof fact, we spent quite some time thinking about the last time someone performed better than the self- proclaimed lyrical deity, but we are still unable to give a proper example.

Upon releasing “Rap God” in 2013, Em set a new world record for most words in a song with 1,560 words. A few days ago, UK emcee Harry Shotta set the bar higher and is the new owner of the record as his track “Animal” contains a grand total of 1,771 words. Note that both songs are a bit longer than 6 minutes and both rappers share similar pace and delivery. Shotta’s achievement is yet to be recognized.

“ The process is a long-winded one but we know the word count is more than Eminem and hopefully they’ll recognize that,” Harry said. “This is purely about pushing our art and having some fun.”

Listen to both track below. Would it be dope if Eminem comes up with a proper response and reclaims the feat?
