Rich Homie Quan has clarified his absence at the 2015 BET Awards after he was reported to have
stormed out after an argument.

BillBoard Rich Homie Quan has come out to assure his fans and the general public that he did not ditch the BET Awards as reported by some media platforms.

‘To set the record straight, no I did not get into it with BET,’ he says to Shay Diddy on San Francisco radio station KMEL. We did not have a big ol’ argument. Yesterday, I was here doing interviews and stuff like that.’

‘The time they say everything could’ve transpired, I was in the air on a plane, had my documents. I had my lawyers to reach out. I have no bad blood towards BET.’

Some reports say Rich left the awards ceremony early after getting in an argument with event officials for denying him a main stage performance.

The former Rich Gang member also says that even though he and Young Thug have great chemistry together, he doesn’t see any future collaborations.

‘That’s still my dog,’ he says before adding: ‘He’s working on his solo career. I’m working on my solo
career right now.’
