One of the biggest April headlines in hip-hop was easily Lil Wayne’s tour bus getting shot at in Atlanta.
A month later, the local authorities report they have a suspect and have issued an arrest warrant for him on May 21st. Here’s the kick: he is a Young Thug affiliate.
According to TMZ, Jimmy Carlton Winfrey, also known as Peewee Roscoe, has been charged with
aggravated assault, terroristic threats, firearm possession by a felon, and criminal gang activity in
connection to the shooting of Wayne’s tour bus.
Sources claim the man has previously been Thugga’s road manager.
Even though the information is not confirmed yet, Peewee does know the controversial rapper as he has appeared on tracks with him and has published photos with him on Instagram. In one of the videos, Winfrey is at the gun range, firing off rounds while Thug tells him to, “Let it rip,” in the background.
This begs the following question: did Thugga encouraged him to aim at Weezy’s bus and press the trigger, too?
