An Eye for an Eye! Shocking images show Iraqi Soldiers brutal treatment torturing ISIS fighters (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

We are used to seeing brutal images of torture performed by ISIS on others..However, new sickening pictures and videos have emerged that claim to show Iraqi soldiers torturing and beheading Islamic State prisoners in apparent revenge attacks.
The images have been posted on social media in recent days reportedly by U.S.-trained Iraqi Special Forces who are advancing against jihadi strongholds.
An Instagram account  Iraqi_lion18 contains numerous pictures of severed heads and mutilated bodies.The account holder vowed ‘revenge’ for the massacre by ISIS of hundreds of military cadets..

Presidential Media aide, Reuben Abati has described as totally irresponsible the statement made by Governor of Lagos state Babatunde Fashola that the success of the robbery incident that occurred in Lekki yesterday March 12th was as a result of the drafting of all police formation in the state to protect President Jonathan who was in the state when the robbery incident occurred.
Reuben Abati spoke to state house correspondence
“We consider the statement attributed to Governor Fashola as grossly and utterly irresponsible.
We expect that a man of his status who is the Governor of a state should speak more responsibly.
It doesn’t make any sense whatsoever that the entire police formation in a state would be deployed to protect the president of Nigeria.
The visit of the President or any part of the country does not necessitate the depletion of the police force active in that particular state or its environment.
The President has a defined team that protects him anywhere he goes and again President Jonathan does not need the entire police force to protect him in a state where he is loved by the people and where as we have seen, he enjoys overwhelming support to the leadup of the 2015 presidential election” he said

Director of Media and Publicity of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organisation (PDPPCO), Femi Fani-Kayode has 
described as baseless and false the claim by Senator Bola Tinubu that the PDP and the Presidency offered him (Tinubu) the position of vice 
president in an Interim National Government (ING) if he would part company with General Muhammadu 
Buhari.
The spokesman recalled that the Tinubu Media Office recently said that the PDP and the Presidency tried to fracture the APC by offering Tinubu the position of vice President in an interim government if he would agree to part company with Buhari.
It further recalled that once Tinubu rebuffed the offer to participate in the interim scheme, the presidency decided to change tactics and planned to silence and if necessary neutralize him.
But Fani-Kayode, in a riposte, said “These allegations are baseless and false.
These people have become prisoners of their own delusions and they have become victims of their horrific and terrifying hallucinations.
“We are not in the least bit interested in the formation of an interim government and we are even less interested in participating in any contraption in which Bola Tinubu would play any role.”
He said further in response to another claim that “Those that killed Funso Williams know who they are and it is very clear that his spirit is now tormenting his murderers.
Let them be fully aware of this: whoever it was that killed Funso William will suffer the judgment of God both in this life and in the life hereafter. God would see to that”.
Continuing, Fani-Kayode insisted that no one was trying to frame Tinubu for murder and that nobody 
approached him to be the “Vice President of anything”.
“It is clear that he has an overinflated opinion of himself and he is suffering from the most extreme form and manifestation of paranoia.
“The man is hiding from his own shadow and the fear of his party losing at the polls later this month 
is giving him sleepless nights. Whether he, Buhari and their APC like it or not, they will be devastated 
at the polls and they would suffer a crushing and irreparable defeat.

“The everlasting confusion that would ensue in their camp after suffering this defeat will never be forgotten.

“In Ijebu here, it is not possible for any Oba, not even in Yorubaland, to go out and say vote for this, 
vote for that, that person is looking for trouble.The only thing the Oba can do is to give them the opportunity to present their programme so that people can make up their minds on what to do.
I think this is a very sound democratic principle and that is what I have decided to do, to give you the 
opportunity of meeting with the people.
One, they see you as a person, how beautiful you are, whether to engage with you or not, to listen to 
you and see if there are areas where we can meet, as a result, everybody congregating here, they belong to different groups, they are PDP members, APC members, APGA members.
They belong to various interests, and when they come, they get to the gate, they shed their toga.
PDP will remove their PDP, APC will remove their own, APGA will remove their own, they are going to 
the palace, to meet their ruler, their paramount ruler, to receive that important august visitor who is 
coming to their lands and give him all honour that is entitle to him.
“In all our churches, after prayer, they will pray for you, pray for the Governor, pray for me and all their 
leaders both in the mosque and churches as it is so required both in the bible and also in the Qur’an,

Tinubu’s Alleged Assassination Sparks Reactions

The All Progressives Congress (APC) lawmakers in Ekiti State House of Assembly have reacted to the 
alleged plot to assassinate the national leader of the country’s major opposition party, Bola Tinubu.
The reaction was contained in a statement issued on Friday by the Special Adviser on Media to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Wole Olujobi, a copy obtained by The Nation.
The party said the 19 lawmakers on the platform of the APC in Ekiti State House of Assembly have 
condemned the alleged plot, and warned the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to respect the 
sanctity of human life in their pursuit of power.
The lawmakers said the political mood in Nigerians as expressed by voters to change political 
leadership did not support shedding the blood of opposition leaders to secure victory.
The statement said the lawmakers told PDP to realise that Nigerians had seen their deceits, corruption and ineptitude in the last six years hence have made up their minds that ‘enough is enough’ for dashed hopes for a new lease of life.
They asked PDP to show in practical terms the declaration by Jonathan that his re-election is not 
worth the blood of one Nigerian, reiterating that it would be dangerous to witness a repeat of Ekiti 
bloody scenario of intolerance on a national scale.
“It is dangerous that what we thought was a local problem in Ekiti State in the hands of an intolerant 
and desperate administration is fast spreading to the national stage where our national leaders are 
being targeted for elimination. We condemn this as totally unacceptable. PDP has done enough damage to the national psyche and economy and has created conditions that gave bleak hope for the 
future of young Nigerians. After succeeding in killing Nigerians’ dreams, it should spare the lives of the opposition figures who have the vision to turn around the fortunes of Nigerians for good,” Olujobi 
said.
According to him, Tinubu is a patriot and visionary who would not compromise his democratic 
credentials to sit in court with felons and gang-rape the constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 
the name of contraption called Interim Government that PDP leaders were luring him to participate as 
the Vice President, and went ahead to assure that he (Tinubu) would continue to lead the way in 
growing democracy for national transformation and salvation.
“Tinubu has come a long way. He is conscious of his place in the history of political development of Nigeria, particularly his roles in mid-wiving the nation’s democracy through his activities in NADECO. It is shocking that the man that helped in 
erecting democratic pillars for Nigeria is the same man PDP is expecting in a conspiracy to sabotage the democratic rights of Nigerians to have a democratically elected President,” he said.
The statement further warned the ruling party to shelve its plan to implicate opposition leaders in fabricated charges to put them out of circulation ahead of the March 28 presidential poll.
The APC called on the Nigerian security agencies to provide adequate protection before, during and after the elections, noting that the PDP will be held responsible if anything should happen to APC leaders.
Recall that Tinubu on Thursday raised alarm over alleged plan to assassinate him by PDP following political differences and threats posed by him for the successful re-election of President Goodluck Jonathan.
Meanwhile, the PDP has questioned Tinubu’s mental state after the APC chieftain alleged that President Jonathan offered him the position of vice president in an Interim National Government (ING) if he parts company with General Muhammadu Buhari.

Buhari Slams EFCC Progress Under Jonathan

Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari Presidential candidate of the all Progressives Congress (APC) has lamented the situation the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, finds itself under President Goodluck Jonathan’s rule.
Speaking through his spokesperson, Garba Shehu, at a press conference Thursday in Abuja, Mr. Buhari 
opined that that EFCC’s inability to record a conviction is in stark contrast to its past record, where former governors and other senior public officials accused of defrauding the Nigerian peoplebwere tried and prosecuted, Premium Times reports.
“Thus, we can safely say that President Jonathan has muzzled the EFCC. He has turned one of our country’s most respected and revered institutions into a toothless bulldog without even as much as a bark,” he said 
Mr. Shehu said it is startling to see the dexterity with which the President sacked the former chairman of the SURE-P scheme owing to his pronouncement on the desirability of change.
Mr. Jonathan had sacked Martin Agwai as SURE-P chairman after he reportedly attended the birthday 
celebration of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.
The retired Army General was also reported to have talked about the “desirability for change” in the 
country.
Mr. Shehu said the president hastily sacked the SURE-P boss, adding “meanwhile, ministers and 
other senior members of his government who have heavy allegations of corruption hanging on their necks still comfortably retain their positions”.
He said; “not only did Mr. Jonathan stop the EFCC from doing its job, but that he has also reversed 
some previous achievements of the commission byngranting state pardon to erstwhile government 
officials whom it had uncovered as guilty ofbcorruption.
“It is no wonder, therefore, that Nigeria remains in an abysmal low on the Transparency International 
ranking of corrupt countries in the world,” he said.
He added that yet another clear example of the wanton corruption that has become commonplace in President Jonathan’s government is the recent announcement by the Nigerian Senate that the Ministry of Works’ budget has been reduced by 89 percent.
“Who was the intended recipient of the unnecessary, extra 89 percent? Into whose pockets were the superfluous millions intended? And if indeed the 89 percent was essential to the effective functioning of the ministry, is the reduction just an attempt by the PDP government to punish Nigerians for asking for CHANGE?” he asked.
Recall that Buhari promised that he will not condone stealing or any form of corrupt practice from public office holders if elected into power during an APC campaign rally 
in Kaduna.

President Goodluck Jonathan has told the Economic Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to secretly 
investigate the personal and official finances of leading opposition party leaders.
In a leaked letter dated February 19, Jonathan through his Chief of Staff, Brigadier General Jones Oladehinde Arogbofa (rtd), told EFCC investigate 20 persons including All Progressives Congress leaders like former Lagos governor, Bola Tinubu, former vice president of Nigeria, Atiku Abubakar 
and Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers state.
“I have been directed by the C in C to instruct your Agency to clandestinely investigate the personal and official finances of the following present and 
former government functionaries and report back by 16th of March,” Arogbofa said in the leaked letter 
with block letters that read: “THE PRESIDENCY: OFFICE OF THE CHIEF OF STAFF” Others on the list are: Governor Adams Oshiomhole 
of Edo; Speaker, House of Representatives, AminunTambuwal; Governor Aliyu Wammako of Sokoto; Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso of Kano; Former Gombe state governor, Senator Danjuma Goje; Former Kwara state governor, Senator Bukola. Saraki. Farouk Ahmed, Suleiman Barau, Habib Abdullahi, Captain Muktar Usman, Umaru Ibrahim, Abdulfatah Ahmed, Attahiru B. Yusuf, Aisha Abdurrahman, Sen Aisha Alhassan, Ahmed Modibbo (former Chief Registrar FCT Judiciary) Prof. Ruqayyatu Rufai, former Minister of Education make up the list.

10 Ways You Push Her Away Without Realizing It

I was once interviewed for an article on Fox News Los Angeles, the author of which finds herself immersed in the LA dating scene (which, as you can imagine, is unique).
We discussed some recent experiences that she has had with men, and while some of them were a 
little different from what I usually hear, some of them were also consistent with issues that I felt I had discussed multiple times before with multiple different women about multiple different men. What does this mean? It means there are consistencies.
There are, for some reason, mistakes that many men (probably myself included) are making when it comes to being in a relationship. In this article, we will discuss some of them in order to help all of us become more aware of where we can improve, and work to become better.
You have never really learned about women.
This has always surprised me a little bit. People (men and women) spend years of their life learning about business, history, science, and whatever subject comes our way. But when it comes to the one thing every single one of us shares – relationships – many are generally clueless. Time is not taken to observe, talk to, or learn about the 
opposite sex.
The more effort you put into learning about women , particularly the one in your life, the more likely you are to be in tune with her feelings, emotions, likes and dislikes. This will of course lead to a smoother, happier relationship because you can anticipate her wants and needs in order to act on them. You don’t 
need to be a mind reader, you just need to put in a little effort.
You spend too much time trying to sell yourself.
This is to say, you spend far too much time talking about yourself and not enough time learning about 
her. Dating is not supposed to be a sales pitch where you try to convince the person on the other end of the table that you’re their best option. It’s 
about mutual learning and figuring out whether or not you are both a match for each other.
You have two ears and one mouth for a reason: Listen twice as much as you speak.
You don’t make her a priority.
More than one conversation I have had recently has focused on men who were either so submerged 
in their career, business, friends, or other interests that they barely made time to spend with their own 
girlfriend. As an entrepreneur, I understand the importance of focusing on business and progress, but I also understand the beauty and depth a relationship can bring to your life, and the importance of playing your equal role in it.
The woman in your life wants to feel valued. She wants to feel adored. She wants you to be emotionally present when you are with her. She doesn’t need to have you around constantly, but of course she wants to feel loved, just like you do. If you stop putting in effort to make the woman in your life feel special every day, you lose your right to complain when someone else does.
You didn’t work to build a foundation.
A foundation of friendship and trust is essential to every relationship, much like a first building a foundation is essential to building a house.
Without it, things may look solid from the outside but will be 
crumbling from the inside.
Many men shy away from friendship with women because they are scared of being in the ‘friend zone’ and never having more than that with a woman they have feelings for. But it is important to realize that many relationships are built off of friendships. That is what keeps two people together in the long term. She needs to know she can count on you, that you will be there, that you are the real deal. You can have a friendship without a relationship, but you can’t have a relationship without a friendship.
You are inconsistent.
Another one of the most common questions I get from women about men is: Why are men so hot and 
cold? Men can be talking about commitment and a relationship one day, and then completely disappear 
the next. What gives?bI understand that as men in the social media era we have options. We can easily X out a conversation and start a new one while easily forgetting about the last one. It is an unfortunate side effect of the out of sight, out of mind mentality that comes along  with constant information overload. But one thing has not changed: The fact that you are talking to real human beings with real feelings and emotions.
If you are interested in her, tell her. If you are not interested in her, tell her. A gentleman will never allow a woman to fall if he does not intend on catching her.
You  focus too much on her looks.
This one is pretty interesting because it may be counter-intuitive to a lot of men reading this. But, that is only because most guys try to get a 
woman’s attention by complimenting her beauty, and put no effort into learning about her character.
Early on in my relationship I found myself not complimenting my girlfriend on her looks very often. 
I wanted to tell her that she is the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen, I wanted to tell her that she looks just as beautiful in sweatpants as she does in a dress. I wanted to dig up every adjective I could think of that could be used to describe someone’s 
appearance – but, I didn’t.
Why? Because I didn’t want her to think that’s why I wanted to be with her. Yes, she is beautiful and 
sexy and all of those things, but she is so much more than that. I actually told her once that I didn’t want her to think I only wanted her for her looks, 
and she told me that if I’d spent too much time complimenting her beauty, that’s exactly what she 
would have thought.
The woman in your life will have much more appreciation for you taking the time to notice her 
character, compassion, thoughtfulness, and kindheartedness – far more than you telling her 
how great her butt looks in those jeans. Even if it does.
Too much, too soon.
Yes, men can be clingy too. Particularly when we find a woman who really catches our attention, 
sometimes the excitement can be a little overwhelming and we may come on stronger than we intend to. This, particularly for a more 
independent type of woman, can be kryptonite and push her away immediately.
Take a step back, a deep breath, tell her what a great time you had on your date, and do your best 
to fight the urge to text her every 5 minutes. Don’t be worried about coming across as uninterested, 
you will actually likely be helping yourself rather than hurting yourself.
You have not yet defined yourself or your own path.
I know that this was a big hang-up for me for a long time. I wasn’t really sure who I was as a person, 
who I wanted to be, or who I wanted to become. For that reason (and others) I knew I wasn’t going to be 
ready for a relationship until I had at least a better grip on those questions.
In order to be happy with someone else, you first need to be happy with yourself. That is the most 
important relationship you’ll ever have. If that one isn’t healthy, none of your others will be either.
The idea of “you complete me” is romantic, but it is not realistic. A relationship is not about two people who complete each other, it’s about two people who are already whole and accept each other completely.
You put in part-time effort.
Healthy relationships are not a part time commitment. The woman you are with is not just another option or a way to pass your time, and she shouldn’t be made to feel like she is.
When you are with her, be with her. When you are not with her, let her know you’re thinking about her.
A relationship is a team, and teams fall apart when one of the members doesn’t pull their own weight.
As mentioned earlier, she needs to know that you will be there for her during good times and during bad times. If you always seem to be just sort of kind of committed, she will eventually realize she is better off being single or finding someone who gives her what she needs.
You are clueless about how she’s feeling.
On a deeper level than the first point about not really learning about women, you also need to make sure you learn about her. About the one woman who you have committed your time and effort to. If you do not put in the effort to become in-tune with how she is feeling or what she is communicating to you non-verbally, you will never be able to form the type of deep, emotional connection that a healthy relationship should possess.
She doesn’t want or need you to be a psychic. But if you truly put in the time and effort to communicate with her, listen to her, and pay attention to the things she is saying to you when she’s not actually speaking; you will gain a greater understanding of the woman you love and ultimately be able to bring more happiness to you both as individuals and to your relationship.
Relationships should not be as complicated as they seem to be for our generation. They don’t need rules or checklists. But what they do need is two people who are willing to learn, understand, and communicate. Two people who will stand by each other when things are good, and when things are bad.

Islamic State Accepts Boko Haram's Alliance Request

The Islamic State group has welcomed a pledge of allegiance to it made by the Nigerian terrorist 
organisation Boko Haram, according to an audiotape Thursday purportedly from its spokesman.
“We announce to you to the good news of the expansion of the caliphate to West Africa because 
the caliph… has accepted the allegiance of our brothers of the Sunni group for preaching and the 
jihad,” IS spokesman Mohammed al-Adnani said in the message, using the Arabic name for Boko Haram.
Itself a radical Sunni Muslim movement, IS has seized large swathes of Iraq and Syria and declared an Islamic “caliphate” there, and has also drawn expressions of allegiance from jihadists in Egypt 
and Libya.
On Saturday, an audiotape attributed to Boko Haram leader Abubakar Shekau said “we announce our 
allegiance to the Caliph of the Muslims, Ibrahim ibn Awad ibn Ibrahim al-Husseini al-Qurashi,” 
referring to IS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.
Shekau has previously mentioned Baghdadi in video messages yet stopped short of pledging formal 
allegiance.
But there have been increasing signs that the Nigerian militants, whose six-year insurgency has 
claimed more than 13,000 lives and left 1.5 million people homeless, have been seeking a closer tie- up.
IS spokesman Adnani urged Muslims to join militants in West Africa and insisted that the caliphate was growing.
“Our caliphate is resisting and it is advancing in the right direction. We are fighting the Crusaders and the rafidah (Shiites) and day by day the Islamic State is becoming strong,” he said.
He insisted that the jihadist group is “sure of its victory” regardless of the challenges it is facing.
For months, IS has been targeted with air strikes from a coalition led by the United States and suffered territorial setbacks in Syria and Iraq.
And Iraqi government forces have closed on the city of Tikrit this week in a bid to retake it from the group.
